This outdoor bench is very useful for archiving and easy for a child or an adult getting on and off of the. It is functional and looks nice, that works for us all around. Update July 2014: purchased this bench back in 2006 and still use it today. It really works to keep the items inside dry and is very sturdy lasted this long. has slightly changed colors from the sun beating down on it and tend to collect dust inside, but no big deal. still recommend this
